NATG III Day 4 - Medical Tools

I walked slowly back to town, using my telekinesis to hold the mare on my back steady. I couldn't help but let my mind drift during the short trip, drifting back to the time before the war, back to a time when I had carried various friends around in this manner. I pushed those thoughts back quickly, as I had only recently arrived at these ruins and still didn't know what dangers might lurk therein. It wouldn't due to have a dangerous creature jump out at me whilst I was reminiscing, especially with another life on my back now.

I reached the ruined building I had set up camp within on the previous night and slipped inside. I pulled my blanket down from where I had slept last night, and laid it out on the floor. I then shifted the unconscious mare on top of it, and dug some first aid supplies out of my saddlebag. While such medical tools are of limited use to a ghoul like myself, I still find it worthwhile to carry some around, not only to help the occasional stranger in trouble, but also for bartering in towns that allow ghouls to enter.

I began to clean her cuts and scrapes, all the while keeping an eye out for signs of wakefulness from the Stable mare, and an ear out for signs of life in the town overall.

This is my submission for Day 4 of Equestria Daily's Newbie Artist Training Grounds III - Draw a pony using a tool/Draw a handy pony. I may be interpreting things a bit loosely here, but medical tools would still count as tools. Technically, the PipBuck could also qualify as a tool, but I think the Stable mare would need to be awake for that to really count.

The Stable mare (tentatively named Crystal) looks oddly larger than Nocturne for some reason. I use a ruler to draw the initial guidelines I use to draw ponies, so I know they're both the proper size. I think she just appears larger both because of their respective positions, and because she actually has a mane.
