NATG V Day 1 - Technically Demotivating

Alternate Title: Blankets - Not Always the Best Option

This is my submission for Day 1 of Equestria Daily's Newbie Artist Training Grounds V - A Pony Keeping Still / A Pony Holding Tight.

I've been watching Nimaru's tumblr, Ask the Elements, for some time now, and have been amused by the recent string of pictures showing Winter Willow attempting to overcome demotivation. So when I saw the most recent picture showing Winter Willow flopping back down with a stallion walking into the frame, I had immediately thought of Nocturne Star bringing in a blanket. (Even though the pony is very likely to be Crabapple.) Making her more comfortable while she's lying down is, of course, not very likely to aid in gaining motivation, but c'est la vie.

I didn't notice until I was nearly finished that I had used the wrong color for her cutie mark; she is called 'Winter' Willow for a reason. Also, this is the first time I've shown my ponysona with an OC not created by one of my friends. Chances are it won't be the last time, though only time will tell when exactly such a picture will be created again.
