NATGII Day 9 - Ponies from Video Games

Description

My submission for Day 9 of Equestria Daily's Newbie Artist Training Grounds II - A pony from your favorite video game/book/movie/etc. Now, I have three games which I consider my favorites overall, and I'm never really sure which one is actually my top choice. So, I decided to go with all three. Descriptions of the ponies, along with their source games are as follows:

Count Dracula - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (left): Based on his appearance in the game's prologue battle. Launches fireballs simply by opening his wings, as his normal version would do with his cloak. The magic glow around his horn is similarly fiery. He is the Lord of Darkness in Castlevania, so portraying him as an alicorn makes sense. His cutie mark is trio of blood drops.
Terra Branford - Final Fantasy VI (upper right): The lead character of this game, and the first female character to take the lead role in the Final Fantasy series. Terra is a half-esper; effectively a demigod (or half-alicorn in FiM terms). She is currently in her powerful esper form here. I envision her eye glowing, and her mane and tail slowly waving around in the swirling eddies of magic that would be surrounding her. The fuzzy bits on her forelegs and back are a reference to her normal appearance, but I like the end result so much that I'm likely to make that part of my overall style. (I do like fuzzy pony art anyways.) Her cutie mark is FFVI's strongest magic, the 'Ultima' spell. For the record, I think this is the best pony I've drawn thus far.
Sydney, aka Little Moonbeam - Fallout 3 (lower right): Originally, I had considered the Lone Wanderer for this character, but I felt it would end up just looking like an R63 version of Lil' Pip. So, since I've already had ideas for an OC filly based on Sydney, I decided to add a ponification of the official character here. Sydney is basically a post-apocalyptic Indiana Jones (or, better yet, Daring Do), searching for ancient artifacts in dangerous ruins.

I was originally going to do more with this picture, such as clothing on Dracula, his throne in the background, and a Fallout:Equestria battle saddle on Sydney. However, creating ponified versions of three unique characters is much more difficult than creating the three generic wastelanders (and Yao Guai) in my previous picture. This is also my first attempt a drawing an alicorn, and it's a male version at that. Research time included, this picture took a good four hours!

Style Experimentation: Finalized the eye position, and dropped the oval style I'd been testing in favor of returning to the more rounded eye style of FiM. Forelegs are thinnest around the upper leg area, instead of at the shoulder. Belly curves inward, instead of outward, making the ponies less pudgy. As stated before, Terra's fuzziness wasn't intended to be a style experiment, but will be experimented with in the future. Indeed, I think Terra is very close to whatever my style ends up being.

Credit goes to :iconhasbroplz: and :iconfyre-flye: for creating MLP:FiM.

Special thanks to Phoe for going through the effort to run this massive event.

This is by far the biggest description I've written.

Really nice linework. I'd like to see it digitally coloured, because it doesn't really need any major inking at this point. Give it a go, it's not hard even with a mouse, done it many times before I bought a tablet :) I'd recommend PS Sai.
One thing that bothers me though is the tail size of the Dracula pony, could be a little bigger. Give me a holler if you want to learn more
