Seed of Equestria

It is done! After two week of (semi-)steady work, I have finished my first comic. This is easily the most complex image I have created thus far, both due to the fact that it's my first multi-panel creation, and also because it's my first real attempt at drawing a human (not counting Kick Buttowski, which I had many references for).

And that human would be Lauren Faust, herself. This was inspired by 's Week 62 theme, "And That's How Equestria Was Made". It shows Lauren Faust, at ten years of age, watching the original My Little Pony for the first time, and then creating her first drawing of Firefly. And thus, the idea of ponies was planted into her mind, growing like a tree within her imagination, and ultimately (after a certain offer from a certain company) becoming the realm of Equestria.

With this being my first real attempt at drawing a human since my return to drawing in general, it's not really surprising that there's a sizable number of issues here. But we can't learn if we don't try, eh?
